Meet Amy Lyndon
We were lucky to catch up with Amy Lyndon recently and have shared our conversation below.
Amy , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
It’s so important to me to leave a legacy. I want to help as many actors as possible and leave behind a beautiful Technique that actors can follow long after I am gone. Every day I am internally elevated with joy when I experience the success of others knowing that I had a part in all of it. I’m also determined to be forever on celluloid for my work as an actress (actor). I love when someone has caught my commercial or a television show that I did many years ago or come to one of my screenings at a film festival.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m incredibly passionate about my brand, I Am Enough, which I launched during the height of the pandemic. It was born from a mission close to my heart: to empower others with strength and passion—whether they’re wearing one of my uplifting tees or sipping from a mug that reminds them of their worth. Designing positive, meaningful apparel like tanks, hoodies, and tees has become a powerful creative outlet for me.
Beyond the brand, I also love working one-on-one with actors to help them shape their online presence and create standout branding packages. It’s so rewarding to guide talented performers from development to the point where they’re ready to land representation that truly reflects their value.
And on the creative front, I’ve been actively pitching my award-winning screenplay to production companies. It’s a deeply personal story inspired by my own journey and the multi-award-winning short film that preceded it—starring the late, incredible Yolanda King. I have high hopes for it, and fingers crossed it finds the right home soon.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Surround yourself with people who lift you higher. Your success is deeply influenced by the company you keep, so be intentional about building a village of like-minded individuals who genuinely care about your growth and well-being. Align yourself with mentors, teachers, and representatives who not only see your value but have the experience and track record to help you reach the next level. And above all—don’t give up. The only way you don’t make it is if you stop trying.
Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
Honestly? Doing exactly what I’m doing now—living my dream and building my empire. The only upgrade? Being in the best shape of my life and looking hot while doing it. Why not have it all?
